GRANT

AMUM RECEIVES A GRANT FROM THE ANDALUSIAN WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

We are pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Junta de Andalucía for the project ‘Youth for more equality and less violence – marathon and networking’, which aims to contribute to the deconstruction of gender stereotypes and patriarchal norms that foster gender inequality and violence.

The idea is to bring together 50 boys and girls high school students for a weekend to design multimedia campaigns that will be disseminated on social networks. They will promote gender equality and the commitment of young people of both sexes with the construction of a more just and egalitarian society. It will take place at the Juan XXIII Diocesan School in Estepona.

As you can imagine, it is an absorbing work that requires a lot of preparation and subsequent follow-up for which we will need the collaboration of a group of associates.

We are very excited because AMUM marks two milestones:

It is the first time that we have won an official competitive grant.

This is the first time we have addressed the entire student body and not just the girls.
