INTERACTIVE MAP OF THE HISTORY OF WOMEN CREATORS IN MUSIC
As in other arts, the musical space has been predominantly masculine throughout its history. The gap between men and women composers is and has been evident. The recovery of these women composers is more necessary than ever.
Sakira Ventura, Valencian musicologist and performer is the author of a project that makes visible the work of these women through an interactive map of Google Maps in which we can see not only the location but read part of its history, all of them from the ninth century to 2005.
