We will talk about Donde el corazón te lleve (Follow your heart)(Booket, 2005, 192 pages) by the Italian Susanna Tamaro. A short, intimate novel that tells us – through the letters of a grandmother to her granddaughter – the story of four generations of women, victims and products of their times and of their family and social environment. Defined as ‘a plea in favour of love’, it will make us reflect on encounters and misunderstandings, silences and resentments. Most certainly a very good discussion awaits us.
