CEREMONY

Our 15th edition of the AMUM Scholarships, in which we have supported 115 students, has been a truly emotional success. We have awarded 14 scholarships to students from Marbella and San Pedro de Alcántara who have shown that hard work and dedication pay off.

Prior to this, nine of the young women took part in four hours of training with Jessica Breitenfeld (https://www.jessicabreitenfeld.com) to learn public speaking skills. We have thus celebrated local talent that demonstrates academic excellence, leadership and communication skills.

The event concluded with a few words from the Mayor of Marbella, María Ángeles Muñoz, and together we sang “Color Esperanza” with the incredible singer Hoffman. These young women, together with their predecessors, embody the goal we are working towards in Marbella: *empowering women through education.
